4th of July Parade

Parade Entry Requirements: 
 




  • Stay with your group during line-up (6’ from other groups) and consider wearing your favorite mask!


  • Must follow all appropriate vehicle and traffic laws.


  • Walkers and bike ridersWelcome!  Be aware of extended route ~ 2.5 miles.


  • In Truck Bed: Sit down IN bed of truck – NOT ON SIDES.  No Standing!


  • No persons to be riding on a trailer of any kind.


  • Do not throw candy or any items from your vehicle or float


  • Please register your vehicle or float with Parks and Recreation at: Petersburgrec.com with the following information:


  • Organization Name


  • Vehicle make and if trailer is also used


  • Number of vehicles


  • Number of riders


  • Restrain all young children


  • Restrain all animals 


  • Do not exceed 5-7 MPH


  • Follow parade route unless exiting parade.  


  • Give yourself adequate space from other floats to disassemble after parade


  • Be safe, have fun
